The percentage of battery capacity displayed in the application is an estimate and not an exact measurement of the battery capacity. The reason for this is that it is difficult to give an exact percentage due to the chemical composition of the battery. The estimate may vary depending on the tracking profile used.
It should be noted that occasional fluctuations in the battery percentage are normal, especially with pre-configured tracking profiles. The percentage displayed may change with the next position update.
Please note that with tracking profiles other than "6 years battery life", the tracker may switch off and stop sending position updates even though the battery level is still 60%. This is because the battery is actually empty, although the last reported percentage was higher. Each tracking profile requires a certain battery capacity in order to function. Predefined tracking profiles require less battery capacity and consume less energy, while profiles such as Smart mode require more battery capacity and consume more energy. For example, in Smart mode, the tracker is more likely to drain the battery at a higher percentage and stop sending position updates.
